Upper Division

The Upper Level (Levels 4 & up) allows dancers to train at the academy while also accommodating interests outside of the dance studio. Dancers in the upper level may choose a more flexible schedule that fits their current needs. Class options include Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, and Tap. While students in the upper level opt to take fewer classes per week than their peers, the pre-professional curriculum is recommended in order for students to gain a complete understanding of the curriculum. Any students taking less than the recommended number of classes per week may not gain the skills necessary to advance to the next level the following year.
Level 4: Minimum of two Ballet classes - Modern, PBT, Contemporary, Tap can be added if desired.
Level 5: Minimum of three ballet classes - Modern, PBT, Contemporary, Tap can be added if desired.
Level 6 & 7: Minimum of four ballet classes - Modern, PBT, Contemporary, Tap can be added if desired.
